According to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “Privacy Policy”), Cantiere Navale Vittoria S.p.a. intends to inform all users and/or visitors of the website www.jobsvittoria.it (respectively the “users” and the “Site”) regarding the use of personal data, log files and cookies collected through the Site itself.

 

1. Data Controller and Data Protection Officer

The controller of the personal data processing is Cantiere Navale Vittoria S.p.a. (Tax Code and VAT No. 01281400299) with registered office in Adria (RO), e-mail shipyard@vittoria.biz (hereinafter the “Controller”).

The company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

 

2. Information collected from the Site:

a) automatically

  • Browsing data:

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

These data, necessary for the use of web services, are also processed for the purpose of:

  • obtaining statistical information on the use of services
  • monitoring the correct operation of the services offered.

Browsing data are held for no longer than 180 days (except for any need to ascertain criminal offenses by the judicial authorities).

b) communicated by the user

–    Data communicated by the user:

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of data through the various compilation forms on the Site that involve the acquisition of the sender’s contact data, necessary to fulfill requests for contact, services and/or the possible assignment of login credentials to access restricted areas.

The Site uses cookies, for which please refer to the “privacy cookie” extended information sheet.

 

3. Type of personal data, purpose, legal basis and retention period

The personal data requested and provided are used to allow access to the Site and to use the following services:

 

Type of service: work with us;

Type of personal data collected: personal data, contact details (for example: email, telephone numbers, etc.), professional/occupational details, potential special category data.

Purpose: The potential establishment of a working relationship (WORK WITH US);

Legal basis: potential formation of a contract

Retention period: from 12 months to 24 months

 

Data shall be processed for the aforementioned purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy and all the specific sector regulations.

The data provided shall mainly be processed with IT tools under the authority of the Controller, by subjects specifically appointed, authorized and instructed to process data in accordance with Articles 28 and 29 of the Privacy Policy. The company hereby confirms that suitable security measures are also observed pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Policy, in order to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

 

4. Mandatory or optional nature of consent for the provision of data

The provision of data is optional, but in the event of failure to provide it, it will not be possible to use some of the services provided by our Site

 

5. Scope of data sharing

Data may be shared, within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy, with the following subjects:

(1) the tax authorities and/or other public authorities, where this is required by law or at their request;

(2) organizations, subjects and external companies used by the Controller to carry out activities that are related, instrumental or consequential to the performance of the Site’s services.

The data collected automatically from the Site may also be shared with Third Party cloud servers, including those located outside the EU, if such processing is necessary for the performance of the Site’s services. The legal basis of this processing is, therefore, Art. 49, paragraph 1, letter b of the Privacy Policy.

  • Security measures

Through the Site, data are processed in compliance with the relevant law and using appropriate security measures in accordance with the legislation in force, also pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Policy.

In this regard, the company hereby confirms, among other things, that appropriate security measures have been adopted, aimed at preventing the unauthorized access, theft, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of the data processed.

  • Rights

Please note that at any time you may exercise the rights referred to in Articles 15 to 21 of the Privacy Policy, by sending a written communication to the Controller, via their contact details, with the aim of:

  • confirming the existence or otherwise of personal data, with an indication of their origin, verifying their accuracy, or requesting the updating, correction and/or integration of personal data;
  • gaining access to, or requesting the deletion or restriction of, data processing;
  • transforming into anonymous form, or blocking data processed in breach of the law.

It is also possible to object to the processing of personal data that have previously been provided.

Regarding the Newsletter, please note that any potential request for the deletion of data may be made explicit by using a special link/button.

  • Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Notice, replacing it with previous versions.  This information was released in November 2020
